The project suggests that using a mobile phone within a radius of ten kilometers, that is, almost the entire southern metropolis, while, for example, in the car, you can receive signals of mobile digital broadcasting with a resolution of 320 by 288 pixels. Simply put, users of phones equipped with special codes can get a variety of information - weather, roads, flyers, announcements and radio programs, etc. In addition, there are also mobile digital receivers that are placed in the back seat of a car or next to driver.

Figuratively speaking, the innovation can be compared with the information pipe, which is divided into several thousand small pieces: by compression instead of one television channel it could accommodate more than a dozen mobile TV channels quality.
Terminals of the possibility of mobile digital television will cost depending on the "advanced" - from 270 to 600 dollars. Price receivers without the possibility to implement mobile communications are much cheaper - about 10 to 150 dollars. Exact prices depend on the volume of deliveries.

However, fans of high technology have long to wait: just buy any phone in order to use the services of mobile digital television is not enough. Firmware phones with special codes usually do phone manufacturers, and codes will be distributed only through the mobile operator, but the latter have not yet joined the project.

"Supply of mobile terminals should be centralized, - said Valery Platonov, chief technical officer for the development of JSC Kazteleradio. - But, unfortunately, has not yet resolved a number of organizational and technical issues: the licensing of broadcasting standard DVB-H, and not carried out the development of standards, relevant to this broadcast. I hope that after this presentation of the pilot project (which took place Oct. 5 at the Hotel Ankara ") interest in him mobile operators will become more active.
