The press-conference dedicated to the 15-th anniversary of Kaznet took place today. Within the framework of the press-conference were discussed the results of development of the Kazakh segment of Internet and perspectives of Kazakh companies in regard of its use. Batyr Makhambetazhiev, Executive Secretary of the Agency for Information and Communication of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Baimagambetov, Director General of ALSI Company, Nurlan Zhagiparov, Director of the Department of Innovative Technologies of JSC “Kazkommerzbank”, Alexander Lyakhov, Deputy Director of the Department of Public Relations of JSC “Kazkommerzbank and, Shavkat Sabirov, Director General of “Kazinter Systems Solutions” LLP participated in the press-conference.
Kaznet has accomplished 15 years in 2009. In these days its most dynamic growth has been marked. As Shavkat Sabirov noted the existing experience of commercial networks with Internet use allows to expect widening of commercial floors and appearance of new ones. In view of Kaznet development the project ALSI-ONLINE.KZ is very important and no doubt, will make its contribution to the development of commercial part of Kazakh segment of Internet.
The development of internet technologies necessitates in Kazakh society improvement of regulatory and legal framework of Kaznet “participants”. The governmental bodies have to respond to such negative facts in internet as aggressive spam activity, fraud activity, theft, fishing, сybersquatting and other computer crimes. As explained by Mr. Makhanbetazhiev “Concept of Kaznet Development” adopted by Kazakhstan shall clearly define legal boundary and “rule of game” in global Internet. Besides, the Draft Law “On the Introductions and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding INFO-communication network” is under consideration by Mazhilis of Parliament at the present time. The enactment of the law shall lead to qualitative change of principals of legislative control in regard of data transfer in INFO-communication network. Mr. Makhanbetazhiev noted in his speech, “The Draft Law ensures informative transparency of dissimilation of information placed on local and international web sites.”
